Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion: Entry into and participation in the Meadow Fresh NZ Barista Championship 2020 Promotion (the Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Promotion Period: The Promotion commences on Friday 10/07/2020 (GMT+13) and will close on Sunday 9/08/2020 (GMT+13).
3. Who can enter? Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are over the age of 18, subject to these Terms and Conditions (Eligible Entrant). You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee of the Promoter or its related corporations or agencies, or a member of an employee’s immediate family.
4. How to enter: to enter the Promotion, you must, during the Promotion Period:1. Visit http://www.getfood.co.nz/Meadow-Fresh-NZ-Barista-Championship-2020-Promotion, follow the prompts to access the online entry form for this offer, input the requested details (including your first name, last name, email address, contact number) and submit the fully completed entry form so that it is received during the Promotion Period. Entries received after the Promotion Period will not be accepted. 
5. Multiple entries: You may only enter the Promotion once, only one (1) entry is permitted per person. You are not permitted to use any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows you to automatically enter, or enter repeatedly. Any such entries will render all entries submitted by that Eligible Entrant invalid.
6. Your entry: You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct.
7. Receipt of entries: Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents, as determined in the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
8. Prize: The prize(s) for this competition include: the entry fee to the NZ Barista Championships; flights (where applicable) and 3 night’s accommodation and up to $500 in supplies and support.  The total prize pool is valued up to $2,500 (including tax). Choice of flights, accommodation and supplies will be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter. Prize(s) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
9. Game of Skill: This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. All eligible entries will be individually judged based on their creative merit and/or any additional criteria specified in the Competition Post. The entry/entries judged to be the best will win the prize/s.  
10. Notification: Winners will be notified by email, using the email address provided by the Eligible Entrant within 2 days of the winner being decided.
11. Costs: You are responsible for all costs associated with your entry into the Promotion including but not limited to internet access, telephone calls.
12. Promoter’s rights: The Promoter reserves the right to:1. provide an alternative prize of equal monetary value in the event that a  prize or any part of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control;2. disallow entries in its absolute discretion;3. verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a gift where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion;4. to terminate this promotion or amend any aspect of this promotion (including the gift) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this promotion or any aspect of this promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned;5. enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
13. Exclusion: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the promotion or accepting any gift or prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnity: As a condition of participating in a promotion, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the promotion and/or participation in a gift or prize, howsoever caused.
15. Publicity: By entering the draw or accepting a gift or prize you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purposes of the Promotion and promoting any products manufactured, supplied or distributed by the Promoter.
16. Privacy: The information collected about entrants in the course of the Promotion has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for promotional purposes. All personal information collected will be in accordance with the Goodman Fielder Privacy Policy which can be found on the Goodman Fielder website: http://www.goodmanfielder.com/privacy-policy.
17. Your personal information: A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out above.
18. Promoter: The promoter is Goodman Fielder New Zealand Limited (Company No. 1508360) of 2/8 Nelson Street, Auckland 1010 NZ (Promoter). The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on every person who participates, and no correspondence will be entered into.
